Responsibilities
- Maintain medical related equipment
- Perform repair and preventive maintenance
- Ensure electrical safety
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Ensure correct diagnosis for medical providers
- Avoid non-compliance for the Environment of Care
Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Engineering Required
- In lieu of degree, can have one of the following:
- Required Equivalent Military Biomed Tech Program
- Two (2) years equivalent experience in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) field or
- Industry recognized Certification (AAMI / ACI CBET, CRES, CLES)
- Work Experience: 2 years of HTM experience Required or In lieu of degree four (4) years of total experience Required
- Licenses and Certifications: None Required
