Biomedical Science Expert

Overview

Handshake is seeking individuals with a PhD in medicine, biomedical sciences, or related fields to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a clinical or full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, logical consistency, and medical soundness across topics such as diagnosis, treatment planning, pathophysiology, and patient management.
• Provide feedback based on your scientific and medical knowledge to help AI systems better understand biomedical concepts, disease mechanisms, research interpretation, and evidence-based reasoning.

Qualifications

• PhD in medicine, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field (or currently pursuing one, including postdoctoral researchers).
• Strong background in scientific research, critical analysis, and evidence-based reasoning, with familiarity in interpreting literature, experimental design, and biomedical data.
