Biomedical Equipment Technician II

About the role

Provides advanced levels of equipment and/or departmental service and support. Performs preventive maintenance, quality assurance inspections, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and general maintenance on biomedical, clinical data/network systems, and related technologies. This position is with Thomas Jefferson University, a nationally ranked health system and university principally located in the greater Philadelphia region, Lehigh Valley, and Northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. The primary work location is 132 S 10th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Completes the preventive maintenance (PM) workload to achieve a consistently high level of PM compliance over time.
• Provides safety checks, repairs, and installations of biomedical and communications equipment.
