Responsibilities
- Service on low, medium, and/or high risk equipment as described in the Medical Equipment Management Plan.
- Completes preventive maintenance, safety inspection, calibration, installing, advanced troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and electronic devices.
- Servicing equipment in both the hospital environment as well as at numerous offsite locations.
- Works in close proximity to patients and staff in intensive care units and operating room settings.
- Interfaces with all the members of the Clinical Engineering team effectively.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and 4 years of experience that is closely related within a hospital, the military or any other comparable organization required.
- Associate's degree in Electronic or Instrumentation Technology with particular focus on Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Able to read schematics and mechanical diagrams preferred.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Advanced networking and system integrations preferred.

Benefits
- Compensation range: $30.93 - $43.30 per hour.
- Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
