About the role
This role will repair, calibrate, install and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of high cost, complex medical instruments, at University of VT Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Repair, calibrate, install and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of high cost, complex medical instruments.
- May require occasional evening and/or weekend work.
- Travel to and from worksites may be required.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in in Biomedical technology or electronics with three years related experience required.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain and driver’s check may be required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Qualifications
- Effective communication, customer service and computer skills required.
- Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician desirable.
Skills
- Knowledge of biomedical equipment and its operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Anticipated Pay Range: $24-$30 per hour.
