Biomedical Engineer

Analyst$48k–$55k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Job Summary, Responsibilities (Essential Functions), Minimum Qualifications, Preferences (Preferred Qualifications), Benefits? There's mention of URS retirement system, but not explicit benefits like health insurance. There's Pay Rate Range $48,000 to $55,000, so we can include Pay section. Schedule: Standard Hours: Standard Hours per Week 40 Full Time, Shift Day, Work Schedule Summary. So we can include Schedule section. Benefits: maybe mention URS participation, but not explicit benefits like health, dental. The instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. Benefits: we have mention of URS participation, but not explicit benefits like health insurance. Might still count as benefits? The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could combine Benefits with Pay? But we need separate headings only if content exists. There's mention of "Type Benefited Staff" maybe indicates benefits eligible. Also "Additional Information" includes URS etc. That could be considered Benefits. We'll include Benefits section with that info. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out the long EEO paragraph, etc. We need to preserve all substantive information: job summary, responsibilities list, minimum qualifications, preferred qualifications, pay rate, schedule, benefits (URS, retirement, etc). Also maybe location, department, etc. Should we include location as part of About the role? Could be in a short paragraph. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. But we should only include sections that have content. We have About the role (job summary). Responsibilities (Essential Functions). Requirements/Qualifications: we have Minimum Qualifications and Preferences. Could combine into Requirements (maybe includes both). Or separate Qualifications and Skills. The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can choose which to use. We need to avoid thin sections. Let's create sections: About the role (job summary), Responsibilities (list), Qualifications (minimum qualifications), Preferred Skills (preferred qualifications), Pay, Schedule, Benefits (URS etc). That seems reasonable. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose use

. We need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract: Job Summary: "Assist in designing and evaluating biomedical devices and systems, supporting innovation and quality in healthcare technologies. Contribute to project development with an emphasis on reliability, safety and compliance. Learn and apply foundational engineering principles to deliver effective solutions for the biomedical field. May perform clinical and preclinical assessments. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or related scientific field. Requires basic skill set and proficiency. Conducts work assignments as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment." Responsibilities (Essential Functions) list: each bullet starts with a phrase. We'll list them. Minimum Qualifications: includes EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT and description: "Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels: Biomedical Engineer, I: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree." Also maybe mention "Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or related scientific field." but that's already in job summary; but we keep. Preferred Qualifications list: many items. Pay: "$48,000 to $55,000" Schedule: "Standard Hours per Week 40 Full Time or Part Time? Full Time Shift Day Work Schedule Summary VP Area U of U Health - Academics Department 00283 - Molecular Pharmaceutics Location Campus City Salt Lake City, UT". Actually schedule includes hours, shift, full-time, location maybe. We'll include schedule details. We need to strip EEO boilerplate etc. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should remove the long EEO paragraph, Title IX, etc. Also remove the safety report links etc. Keep only substantive benefits info: URS participation, contact HR, background check/drug screen, veterans' preference, reasonable accommodations, transfer of benefits policy. Also maybe mention "Type Benefited Staff". We'll keep those. Thus Benefits section will contain: URS participation details, contact HR, background check/drug screen, veterans' preference, reasonable accommodations, transfer of benefits policy (probationary period). Also maybe mention "Type Benefited Staff". We'll keep as prose. Now construct HTML. We'll have:
