Responsibilities

  • Provide program and project management for multi-disciplinary biomedical and biotechnology teams focused on a range of human performance aspects including infectious disease, musculoskeletal injury, and traumatic brain injury.
  • Plan, track, and execute complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Manage projects involving diverse technology areas relating to infectious disease, human performance, and injury prevention.
  • Develop a general understanding of the importance and impact each technology area has on the overall objectives.
  • Communicate effectively across biomedical disciplines and project roles, connecting programmatic and technical teams and tracking program goals to ensure on-time deliverables.
  • Help customers update stakeholders via technical and programmatic briefings.
  • Understand government acquisition, development, and integration of biotechnologies into existing and new programs.
  • Work across stakeholder interests to keep the program moving forward technically.

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar STEM discipline.
  • Advocate for maintaining CFD Research culture and embodying core values.
  • Experience in engineering or project management, including requirements definition and management, schedule development and management, cost estimating and budgeting, effective communication, and MS Office skills.
  • Deep understanding of biomedical and biotechnologies.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
