Job Summary

You will ensure the optimal performance and safety of critical medical instrumentation through preventive maintenance, installations, and repairs under the Biomedical Program Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on complex medical devices.
• Manage installations of new medical equipment.
• Execute all related repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Apply strong technical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to support healthcare operations.
• Takes appropriate safety precautions in performing job function.
• Uses Personal protective equipment, as required.
• Describes procedure for reporting industrial illness/injury and hazardous conditions.
• Understands/complies with incident/variance reporting and notification requirements.
• Verbalizes procedure for reporting and responding to a fire in the facility.
• Participates appropriately in fire drills/disaster drills.
• Understands procedure for responding to an infant abduction.
• Wears ID badge at all times.
• Verbalizes procedure for reporting equipment malfunction.

Job Requirements

• Required High School Graduate
• Experience in the repair of complex medical instrumentation (should be broad-based and not less than four years)
• Fire Safety, within 90 Days
