Job Summary
You will ensure the optimal performance and safety of critical medical instrumentation through preventive maintenance, installations, and repairs under the Biomedical Program Manager's supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on complex medical devices.
- Manage installations of new medical equipment.
- Execute all related repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Apply strong technical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to support healthcare operations.
- Takes appropriate safety precautions in performing job function.
- Uses Personal protective equipment, as required.
- Describes procedure for reporting industrial illness/injury and hazardous conditions.
- Understands/complies with incident/variance reporting and notification requirements.
- Verbalizes procedure for reporting and responding to a fire in the facility.
- Participates appropriately in fire drills/disaster drills.
- Understands procedure for responding to an infant abduction.
- Wears ID badge at all times.
- Verbalizes procedure for reporting equipment malfunction.
Job Requirements
- Required High School Graduate
- Experience in the repair of complex medical instrumentation (should be broad-based and not less than four years)
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days
