About the role
As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair and regularly service our Dialysis Machines. You will become part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth. This role primarily covers the Trotwood, OH area, with on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, and additional travel pay if outside your designated area.
DaVita is seeking a Biomedical Services Specialist to keep our life-giving dialysis treatments operational daily in our clinics. Responsibilities
- Repair and service dialysis machines.
- Respond to on-call rotations to meet clinic needs, regardless of the time.
- Drive to various clinics and hospitals within the designated area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) – accredited HSD or GED required at time of onboarding.
- A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the Trotwood, OH area for emergency response coverage.
- Available for on-call rotations when needed.
Qualifications
- Mechanical abilities, experience with repairs, and strong electronics knowledge and diagnostics (preferred but not required – training provided).
- Great communication skills and ability to work openly and honestly with teammates.
- Tech-savvy with solid computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet navigation, and ability to learn DaVita-specific applications.
