About the role
The Anticipated Biology Teacher position is available for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a Secondary Biology Teacher position certified for grades 7-12.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in biology curriculum
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Develop lesson plans and materials
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration
- Maintain classroom safety and order
Requirements
- Secondary Biology Teacher certification
- Master's degree in Biology or related field
- Experience teaching high school biology
- Pass necessary background checks (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
