About the role

The anticipated position is for a Secondary Biology Teacher 7-12 certified.

Responsibilities

• Teach biology courses to students in grades 7-12
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities
• Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Secondary Biology Teacher 7-12 certification
• Master's degree in Biology or related field
• Experience teaching biology at the secondary level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Qualifications

• Pass the Pennsylvania Department of Education certification exam
• Pass the Pennsylvania Educator Certification Exam (PCE)
• Pass the Pennsylvania Educator Certification Exam (PCE)
• Pass the Pennsylvania Educator Certification Exam (PCE)
