About the role

Harker seeks a highly qualified individual to teach Biology and AP Psychology at our Upper School Campus, starting in August 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with state and national standards
• Assess student understanding through a variety of methods and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices
• Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities
• Support students’ social and emotional needs
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and events

Requirements

• Masters degree in Biology or Psychology or related field
• Strong teaching credentials and/or certification
• Experience teaching Biology and AP Psychology at the high school level
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
