AP Psychology and Biology Teacher, Upper School

About the role

Harker seeks a highly qualified individual to teach AP Psychology and Biology at our Upper School Campus, starting in August 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with AP Psychology and Biology curriculum standards.
• Assess student understanding through various forms of assessment, including quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and co-teach lessons where appropriate.
• Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support students’ social and emotional needs by creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Biology, or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience teaching AP Psychology and Biology preferred.
• Valid California teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one.
