About the role

Teach college-level General Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology, develop courses and related instructional materials, and lead activities that promote student learning.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college-level General Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology.
• Develop courses, course materials, and instructional activities that foster student learning.

Requirements

• For lecture instruction: a doctorate or master’s degree in biological sciences, or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• For lab instruction: a Bachelor of Science degree in biology or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful college teaching experience.
• Knowledge of community and technical colleges.
