Description Job Purpose Schedules, coordinates, executes, and serves as the liaison for external projects to generate polyclonal antibody serum inventoryImplements effective immunization programs to maximize immune responseMaintains professional & timely relationships with external vendorsConducts required immunoassay testing & processing on received materials to ensure quality standards are being metManufactures sub-assembly items as requiredOrganizes & maintains physical and virtual antibody inventories Ensures antibody quality, stability, and specificity are maintained through proper storage & handlingStays abreast of advancements in the fields of vaccine science, immunology, and antibody science through continuous learningUnder the direction of the Biological Materials Production Manager, significantly contributes to scientific projects for improving the application of antibody materials in current and potential product linesMaintains accurate work records and assists with document revisions when necessaryEffectively communicates with others, is approachable, has a positive and flexible attitude, displays a strong work ethic, time management skills, and demonstrates the ability and desire for professional developmentComplies with all company policies, procedures, internal and external quality standards, and regulatory standardsAny other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field Minimum of four years of experience working in a wet labProficiency in basic laboratory skills:pipetting, aseptic technique, buffer preparation, gel electrophoresis, titrations, immunoassays Strong teamwork, collaboration, organization, and communicationExcellent problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills Desired Qualifications Advanced degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or a related fieldExperience in polyclonal antibody production, immunogen preparation, or protein characterizationExperience in project managementProficiency in advanced laboratory techniques & dry lab skillsBLS-2 Experience Equal Opportunity Employment: IMMY is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and local laws.
