Bioinformatics Technologist I/II
About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading‑edge, patient care is world class and caregivers are family. As a Bioinformatics Technologist I or II you will develop, maintain and run software systems and bioinformatic pipelines for processing and analyzing next‑generation sequencing data. The position involves software programming, raw data quality control, sequence alignment, variant calling, annotation and reporting, as well as collaboration with software engineers, computational biologists, and clinical and basic research scientists. The role participates in translational cancer research in the laboratory of Dr. Przybyl, which develops novel liquid‑biopsy testing methods for sarcoma and applies multi‑omic high‑throughput methods to discover diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets.
