About The Job

Sanofi is committed to being a world-class biologics research organization, striving to bring next generation, transformative therapies to patients. Our BioAnalytics US team, as part of Global CMC Development organization, plays a critical role in advancing Sanofi's R&D pipelines from early discovery through late-stage development. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Scientist with expertise in Cell and Molecular Biology to join the Bioassay Development group in Framingham, MA. In this role, you will be a key contributor to a multidisciplinary team, driving analytical method development, optimization and routine testing to support R&D programs to meet project goals within established timelines. This position offers meaningful growth opportunities — from expanding technical expertise and assuming increasing project leadership responsibilities, to charting a pathway toward senior scientific or leadership roles within Analytical Development and the broader BioAnalytics organization. Join the engine of Sanofi's mission — where deep immunoscience meets bold, AI-powered research. In R&D, you'll drive breakthroughs that could turn the impossible into possible for millions.

  • Innovate and engineer novel cell lines with which to evaluate molecules' mechanisms of action.
  • Support mAb and bi/tri-specific development as well as other modalities such as viral and non-viral gene therapy.
  • Maintain good documentation practices using the electronic lab notebook system.
  • Maintain GMP compliance by following GMP procedures in the laboratory, by supporting routine maintenance activities in the department, and by training on drafting appropriate SOPs.

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and either engineering cell lines or transgenic model systems.
  • Extensive experience in at least two of the following cell and molecular biology techniques: qPCR, Western blotting, and plate-based assays (e.g., ELISA, fluorescence-based assays).
  • Strong time management skills to execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization and scientific communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
