Bio Process Associate

Schedule

5:00 am – 5:00 pm; rotational two-week schedule (3 days on Sat–Mon, 2 days off Tue–Wed, 2 days on Thu–Fri, 3 days off Sat–Mon).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
• Maintain files, records and equipment.
• Operate control systems and processes in biotechnology pilot plants as assigned.
• Prepare process buffers and reagents; clean equipment and maintain area in clean and orderly fashion.
• Recognize and report safety, maintenance and operational variances to area management.
• Communicate status of operations to area management in a timely manner.
• Follow detailed SOPs and batch records.
• Record data, log activities and monitor processes.
• Achieve and maintain proficiency through training.

Requirements

• High school diploma with at least 1–2 years of process operations experience.
• A.A.S. or B.S. degree preferred.
• Prior job-related experience and demonstrated mechanical aptitude required.
• Familiarity with general chemistry, mathematics, microbiology and cGMP clean-room operations is a plus.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Prior experience following and documenting written instructions required.
• Commitment to team-based culture; willingness to work shift and overtime.
