About the Role
The Bingo Shift Supervisor assists the Bingo Lead Supervisor in hiring and training staff to ensure the overall efficient operation of the Bingo department. This role involves direct management of Bingo Floor Clerks, Paper Room Attendants, Paymasters, and Bingo Callers, as well as supporting the Bingo Manager in the direction, coordination, and evaluation of all Bingo staff.

Responsibilities
- Supervises employees engaged in Bingo operations, including planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Assists in the implementation of Bingo promotions and ensures compliance with Internal Controls for Bingo inventory and supplies.
- Maintains positive staff and player relations and establishes rapport with clientele.
- Proficient in the roles of Bingo Floor Clerk, Paper Room Attendant, Paymaster, and Bingo Caller, and fills in as needed.
- Ensures compliance with PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance regulations, including observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity by customers or employees.
- Enforces all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, including observing and reporting suspicious activity.
- Attends annual PCI and Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training as required by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
- One or more years of experience in Bingo operations or two or more years in management.
- Knowledge of Casino Cage operations or financial banking cashier experience is desirable.
- Basic PC skills and proficiency in math and cash handling.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of management.
- Upbeat, friendly personality and well-groomed appearance.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to secondary smoke.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
