About the role

The Production Finishing Specialist is responsible for the finishing and completion of projects in the center, including staging and preparation of completed jobs for delivery or shipment. This role involves operating various machines and equipment to finish printed products, ensuring high-quality output and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing projects.
• Operate finishing machines such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production equipment to assemble finished products.
• Work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain records, including daily production logs, using specified forms.
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by management.
• Perform additional essential functions to ensure high-quality customer service and product output.
• Lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs), dispose of trash, maintain a clean work environment, and handle paper stock.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or related industries.
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
• Cooperative interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work at a waist-high table for extended periods.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize workload, and multitask to meet rush project deadlines.
