Bindery Folder Operator

MM is a global leader in consumer packaging, providing sustainable packaging solutions for cartonboard, folding cartons, kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets, and labels. We are seeking a highly competent Bindery Folder Operator to join our motivated Bindery Team in Indianapolis, IN.

About the role

You will operate and maintain folding machines to produce high-quality packaging solutions that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn to efficiently operate a folding machine
• Monitor each production run to ensure products meet clients' specifications
• Correct and replace any non-standard work while monitoring scrap/waste
• Package product according to clients' specifications
• Perform line clearance requirements between production runs
• Troubleshoot machine operation according to procedure

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand written English
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and machinery
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including decimal and fraction conversions
