Bindery Folder Operator

About the role

This position is responsible for independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot folding equipment
• Maintain production, quality, and safety standards
• Preferred equipment experience includes the MBO B-30 with 8-page and 16-page units and hot-glue applicator, Horizon AFC-566FKT with knife-fold unit, Baum 714, and Martin Yale 2051

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications

• Ability to work from a standing position and bend/lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production requirements
• Good communication skills and excellent attendance
• Willingness to learn all aspects of job and cross-train as needed
