We are seeking a BIM Specialist/modeler who is passionate about Building Information Modeling, drafting, and designing buildings. You should be excited about making commercial buildings more efficient and enjoy collaborating with a technically proficient team.

Job Details

Salas O’Brien is looking for a BIM Specialist/modeler to assist project managers and technical design staff in the development of Mechanical and Plumbing engineering models LOD 200, 300 and 350 for production of design drawings, construction documents, templates, families, and details for projects in various markets including commercial office space, mission critical, telecommunications, healthcare, and education.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of drawing sets, plans, and details with engineers.
• Set up new projects in the Revit environment.
• Provide guidance to engineers for detail development.
• Create Revit families, schedules, and project details.
• Create and coordinate construction documents.
• Support the development of BIM content.

Skills

• Proficient in all Revit platforms.
• Proficient with Revit families, Revit parameters, and Revit schedules.
• Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects at the same time.
• Proficient with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player with flexibility to accommodate different client's needs and project's requirements.
• Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF.
• Knowledge of Dynamo preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
• 5+ years of engineering drafting and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Autodesk Revit.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
