Key Responsibilities
- Author and maintain families for sheet metal components (ductwork, transitions etc.)
- BIM Coordination & Clash Detection: Use Navisworks, BIM 360, or equivalent for model coordination and conflict resolution.
- Documentation & Deliverables: Produce detailed, fabrication-ready drawings, schedules, and BIM reports.
- Standards & QA/QC: Develop and enforce Revit templates, project standards, and QA/QC checklists.
- Technical Support & Training: Mentor junior BIM techs on Revit workflows, sheet metal practices, and parameter usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years Revit MEP experience with 2+ years focused on sheet metal family creation.
- Expert in Revit Family Editor, Parameters, Schedules, and BIM 360 collaboration.
- Proficiency in clash detection tools (Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and industry standards (SMACNA, ASTM)
- Strong attention to detail and clear, collaborative communication skills.
