BIM Specialist

Purpose: The BIM Specialist is responsible for changing and creating project drawings. Essential Duties Include The Following Complies with all company safety policies Works with existing Architect drawings and makes necessary revisions for projectsCreates new drawing designs from conceptWorks with Project Manager on site visits; measures building layoutsWorks with engineering team to assist in design/buildUnderstands and performs 3-D coordination via Revit and NavisworksProvides and creates detailed shop drawings for installationPerforms other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting or equivalent combination of training and experienceCompetence in Microsoft office products, AutoCAD, Revit and NavisworksStrong organizational, file and data management skillsGood communication skills, including verbal and written Physical Requirements Possess good vision (normal or corrected)Able to get to customer job sitesAble to walk and stand for long periods of timeAble to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead Work Environment: Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
