BIM Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate BIM technology and workflows for design and construction projects
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of project models and associated data
  • Oversee model setup including levels, views, sheets, and templates in accordance with firm standards and project BIM Execution Plans
  • Maintain project models throughout all phases of development
  • Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and mentoring for Revit users
  • Perform model audits and ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements
  • Assist with project coordination, model integration, and issuance deliverables
  • Develop, organize, and maintain BIM templates, libraries, and project-specific content
  • Create and modify Revit families and related BIM content
  • Collaborate with project teams to support project BIM goals
  • Participate in clash detection reviews and coordination meetings
  • Monitor BIM workflows and recommend process improvements
  • Support pilot testing and implementation of new BIM tools and add-ins
  • Train team members on BIM processes and tools as needed
  • Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, applications, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Revit/BIM technology
  • 2+ years of professional Revit experience in an AEC environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
  • Experience supporting BIM coordination within architecture, engineering, or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of AEC industry standards and design workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary team
  • Takes initiative and follows through on tasks
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and processes

Compensation

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including education, experience, training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications, and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $80,000 annually.
