About the role
The BIM Modeler II position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading electrical contractor on high-profile projects. This role is part of a team that ensures accurate and efficient modeling and deliverables, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Provide modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards.
- Develop Revit Families as needed for revised standards or specific project needs.
- Model and document projects according to REI Standards.
- Set up Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin Standards.
- Document progress of assigned work following project standards.
- Acknowledge and adhere to REI confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements.
Requirements
- Effective self-management.
- Knowledge of Revit, including creation and manipulation of views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters.
- Ability to give verbal and written direction and translate it into design documents.
- Experience with REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of industry standard software, such as BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks.
- Ability to import documents into Revit projects.
- Understanding of working within Revit work sharing environments and 3D coordination with other trades.
- Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities.
- Work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong, solutions-oriented communication skills.
- Proactive and effective teamwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field.
- At least 2 years of experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting conventions and standards.
Skills
- Revit modeling and manipulation skills.
- Software proficiency in BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks.
- Communication and leadership skills.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $35.20 - $46.50 per hour, with candidate pay varying based on location, experience, and other factors.
