BIM Manager
Responsibilities
- Stay current with industry trends and advise on BIM-related tools, workflows, and standards across the firm
- Lead the rollout of new BIM tools and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency, and project delivery
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and maintain a network of peers to draw on for advice and best practices
- Develop and deliver educational content; meet regularly with project staff to answer questions and identify learning opportunities
- Monitor model health across projects, ensure BIM Execution Plans are in place, and advise teams on model performance
- Support project teams in coordination challenges with partners and contractors, and champion consistent BIM practices firm-wide
- Set, review, and recommend BIM standards; maintain documentation, standard content libraries, and the Revit template
- Coverage with BIM vendors and consultants, tracking deliverables and evaluating their level of support
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is required with 7+ years of experience
- Extensive experience with Revit and BIM workflows in an architecture or engineering practice
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate technical standards and documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff at all levels
- Experience with or interest in process automation and emerging AEC technologies
- Willingness to travel occasionally and represent the firm at industry events
