BIM Manager

About the role

Crawford Architects is seeking a full-time, experienced BIM/CAD Manager to lead technological initiatives and provide support across various projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Revit+CAD libraries and digital templates
• Develop and implement processes for in-house training on Revit and CAD
• Coordinate design production between Crawford's standards and client-specific requirements
• Provide Revit+CAD training through various methods
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and resolve technical issues
• Manage and update office construction documentation standards
• Perform model setup tasks including project startup, template selection, sheet and view setup, and base cleaning
• Administer the use of Revit+CAD digital libraries and templates
• Assist with procurement and management of office technology
• Research industry developments to keep Revit users up-to-date

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent formal training in architecture or related field
• At least 3 years of AEC working experience, with at least 2 years in an architecture firm or relevant field using BIM/CAD technology
• Effective communication and training abilities, both in-person and via web conference
• Extensive knowledge of Revit 2022 or newer version
• Experience with electronic file transfers, MS Office suite, and other business software
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 2022 or newer version, Bluebeam, and clash detection software
• Familiarity with program management and project collaboration software
• Familiarity with government agency standards
