BIM Designer

About the role

The BIM Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) documentation for various projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Revit software and experience in coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed BIM models from architectural drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in BIM data.
• Generate reports and deliverables as required by clients and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in BIM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in BIM design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year.
