BIM Coordinator (Engineering)

About the role

Benchmark Group is seeking an experienced Engineering BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of secondary education or work experience related to AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design platforms, along with five years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Autodesk programs and industry standards is required, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document workflows and standards for CAD/BIM platforms and oversee their implementation across the organization.
• Implement and manage a CAD/Revit system and collaborate with design teams to develop models and families.
• Monitor and research industry trends, and provide guidance on best practices and efficiencies.
• Mentor and train staff on BIM software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of secondary education or work experience related to AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design platforms.
• Proficient in Autodesk programs (AutoCAD and Revit) and industry standards for these programs.
• Five (5) years of applicable work experience using CAD/BIM platforms in an Architecture or Engineering Firm.
• Preferred 3+ years of directly related experience implementing and managing a CAD/Revit system and working with CAD/BIM professionals in an Architectural or Engineering firm.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
