BIM Coordinator
Job Summary
TYLin is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex Rail + Transit projects based in New York City, with opportunities to contribute to projects across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled BIM professional to play a critical role in the digital delivery of some of the nation's most significant transportation infrastructure programs.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models for complex rail and transit infrastructure projects, including stations, maintenance facilities, track corridors, and systems.
Produce high-quality BIM deliverables using Revit, Autocad, Microstation, OpenBuildings Designer, and other Bentley and Autodesk applications.
Support multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and model integration across engineering disciplines.
Implement project BIM standards, workflows, and digital delivery requirements in accordance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, drawings, schedules, and project documentation.
Perform model quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) to ensure compliance with client requirements and TYLin standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project teams to resolve design coordination issues.
Support the preparation of digital deliverables for clients throughout all phases of project development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows, templates, and digital delivery processes.
Stay current with evolving BIM technologies and industry best practices to enhance project delivery.
What You'll Bring
2-5 years of professional BIM experience supporting transportation, rail, or complex infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
Experience using Revit/Autocad/OpenBuildings Designer (Bentley), with a good background in producing engineering/Architecture drawings.
Experience developing and coordinating BIM models on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), digital delivery standards, and model coordination processes.
Experience performing clash detection, model validation, and QA/QC reviews.
Strong understanding of engineering and architectural documentation workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $81,200 - $ 101,500 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
