BIM Coordinator

About the role

As a BIM Coordinator at EXP, you will join the BIM team within the Entertainment, Hospitality and Healthcare sector, based in either the Maitland or Miami, FL office. This role involves collaborating with project design teams at all levels, including external consultants, to deliver innovative BIM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the Common Data Environment for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop 3D Revit models using information and documents from clients and other consultants.
• Engage directly with the client’s BIM Team to resolve model challenges.
• Provide ongoing Revit support and troubleshooting for engineers and designers throughout the design process.
• Attend internal project team meetings to align on deliverable schedules and provide BIM-related input.
• Maintain and link AutoCAD drawings provided by clients and consultants to project models.
• Update models received from clients in a timely manner.
• Perform model “health checks” and collaborate with the design team and EXP’s BIM team leader to make necessary adjustments.
• Update title blocks, perform quality control reviews, and address mark-ups for all sheets prior to client delivery.
• Manage Revit model hosting in a shared cloud environment.
• Ensure team members adhere to standards and best practices in a professional manner.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support project submissions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM Model Management for Hospitality, Entertainment, or Healthcare building projects.
• Proficiency with the latest versions of Revit (up to the past 4 years) and experience working in a Common Data Environment (BIM360, ACC, Forma).
• Experience with the latest versions of AutoCAD.
• Strong professional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with project teams.
• Solution-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with designers, Project Managers, and other Model Managers.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Commitment to following documented processes and standards for consistent results.
• Continuous improvement mindset for personal growth and company workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bluebeam, Dynamo, Navisworks, or Revizto.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
