A Team Coordinator, also called a Local Program Coordinator, is the "athletic director" of the sports programming for a specific team! This position ensures that volunteers and athletes are prepared to participate in year-round local and state competitions and events, by assisting or co-leading along with another coordinator for the team. The Primary Duties Include create and maintain a healthy team atmosphererecruit new athletes to participaterecruit volunteers and coaches to help with your teamremain organized with the necessary paperworkassist the team with local fundraising opportunitiesplan transportation & travel to competitionsmanage two-way communication between SOMT & families/athletes.
