Billing Specialist | Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Timely submission of claims to insurance companies for a variety of medical services and providers
• Monitoring and ensuring payments for medical services are received in a timely manner
• Reviews claim for accuracy, compliance, and completeness determined by contracts and payers

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills including oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression
• Outstanding public relations and customer service experience
• High level of personal presentation
• Able to maintain accuracy with interruptions
• Able to use sound judgment and cope with potentially stressful situations
• Willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect)
