About the role
Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our New Bern office. Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent attention to detail, have ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Generating proformas
- Proofing, editing, and printing billing records from proforma to final bill stages in an accurate and timely fashion
- Responding to inquiries from attorneys and staff
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or related field is highly desirable
- Two plus years' billing experience, preferably in a law office
- Excellent math and bookkeeping skills
- Proficient proofing and editing ability
- Great customer service skills
