About the Opportunity:The BILLING SPECIALIST role is critical within the Operations Team to ensure accurate, timely billing and revenue recognition for investment management clients. The specialist works closely with advisors and internal teams to maintain billing integrity, resolve discrepancies, and support efficient financial operations, directly impacting client satisfaction and organizational financial health. Responsibilities:Perform monthly billing audits including fee calculations and account troubleshootingMaintain client accounts and household structures for accurate fee assignmentsUpdate and maintain billing instructions aligned with client agreementsReconcile direct debit results and ensure timely fee collectionRespond to billing inquiries professionally and promptlyCoordinate with Trading and Client Service teams for account liquidityManage outstanding, failed, or rejected fee transactionsInvestigate and resolve causes of failed collectionsFacilitate collections through various operational partnersMaintain detailed records and provide reports on receivables and collectionsIdentify and recommend improvements to reduce billing issues Requirements:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailUnderstanding of portfolio accounting and client performance reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and integrated billing/financial systemsExperience with Orion and Salesforce preferredHighly organized with ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsProven collaboration skills with advisors and cross-functional teams Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base pay range $26 to $31 USD per hourEligibility for incentive compensation through organizational programs Benefits & Perks:Company Paid Basic Life & AD&D InsuranceCompany Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceSupplemental Life & AD&D; Short-Term Disability; Accident; Critical Illness; and Hospital Indemnity InsuranceMultiple medical plans including High Deductible Health Plans and traditional co-pay optionsKaiser Medical plans in CaliforniaHealth Savings Account with company contributionsTwo comprehensive dental plansVision insuranceDependent Care Savings Account14 company paid holidays including a full week off at ThanksgivingGenerous paid time off for vacation and sick daysEmployee Assistance PlanFamily Medical LeavePaid parental leave (8 weeks) Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
