Billing SpecialistRemote **AZ or West Coast candidates ONLY**Contract (3 months with potential to convert) Soni's client in the legal industry is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the Finance team through billing operations, reporting, expense management, and travel administration. This role is ideal for an analytical finance professional with strong billing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys identifying process improvements while partnering across multiple business functions. Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:Process and manage the end-to-end billing cycle, including invoice preparation, delivery, and reportingCreate, maintain, and distribute billing and management reports using Excel, Tableau, SAP BI, and other reporting toolsReview billing activity, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing exceptionsIdentify missed revenue opportunities and partner with Finance to improve billing accuracy and efficiencyMaintain daily, weekly, and monthly billing and reporting calendarsSupport corporate expense and travel programs, including AMEX, Emburse, and corporate card administrationAssist employees with travel, expense, and corporate card inquiriesPartner with Finance, Payroll, HR, Procurement, IT, and other business partners to support operational excellenceParticipate in process improvement initiatives and special projectsPerform additional finance and billing responsibilities as assigned Requirements of the Billing Specialist:Previous experience in billing, accounting, finance operations, or a related fieldStrong experience with Excel and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP BILegal industry experience requiredExperience working with billing, financial, expense, or travel management systemsStrong financial acumen and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skillsResourceful problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset Compensation: $25-$28/hourCompensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
