This position is primarily remote, but in-office presence is required for monthly team meetings and other various meetings as needed with advanced notice.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Use Prebill Manager and Aderant to accurately and timely process high volume of client invoices
- Ensure proper setup of new clients and matters, including rate management and maintenance
- Work closely with attorneys, legal staff, and clients to resolve complex billing challenges in a timely manner
- Ensure billing compliance with client outside counsel guidelines
- Develop and maintain smooth working relationships with attorneys, staff, and teammates
- Undertake special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of legal billing experience
- Legal billing experience in a mid-sized to large law firm
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Aderant or Elite experience preferred
- Some college experience with an emphasis in accounting and experience using Prebill Manager is a plus

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Maintain strict confidentiality of clients, matters, and timekeeper information
