About the role
RehabVisions is hiring a Clinic Billing Specialist to ensure claims are processed accurately, payments are posted correctly, and follow-ups are handled with urgency and care.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply fee schedules, eligibility records, commercial carriers, PPOs, MCOs, Medicaid, Medicare, and reimbursement trends.
- Manage accounts receivable: track payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing issues.
- Investigate denials and submit claim corrections and appeals.
- Process payments and contractual adjustments accurately.
- Prepare and issue accurate patient invoices for services provided.
- Maintain detailed financial records of all financial-related documents.
- Handle billing inquiries quickly and efficiently.
- Monitor and review invoices and follow up with the appropriate internal or external teams to ensure payment is made.
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets related to billing and receivables for month-end.
- Understand and comply with RehabVisions’ policies and procedures, including but not limited to universal precautions, safety, risk, and emergency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Average salary range: $21.00 - $24.00/hr. DOE + benefits
- PREFERRED. MUST HAVE previous billing experience, preferably in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize specialized billing and practice management software.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to follow established procedures and workflows.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous process improvement.
