We empower shippers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers with accurate, timely, and compliant billing systems that ensure revenue integrity and operational efficiency. Our Billing Specialists are the backbone of our finance-operations alignment, turning complex shipment data into accurate invoices and payments.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile freight invoices for domestic and international shipments, ensuring alignment with contract rates, POs, and carrier agreements.
- Verify billing accuracy by cross-referencing shipment manifests, delivery confirmations, and rate cards using TMS and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal operations to resolve billing discrepancies, chargebacks, and payment delays.
- Generate AR reports, aging summaries, and payment status updates for internal finance and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed billing audit trails and support month-end close activities with timely invoice submissions.
- Identify process gaps and recommend automation or workflow improvements to reduce billing cycle times and error rates.

Preferred Qualifications
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
- Experience with EDI billing formats (810, 990)
- Knowledge of freight class and NMFC codes
