Billing Specialist

Job Description

Process and submit high-volume billing accurately and in a timely manner
Follow up on denials, unpaid balances, and outstanding accounts receivable
Maintain billing and collection records and supporting documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
Respond to billing and collections inquiries from customers and third parties
Assist with special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• 1–2+ years of billing and collections experience
• High-volume billing experience required
• Experience with Medicaid or multi-state billing preferred
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
