Billing Specialist

About the role

Fly My Group is hiring a Billing Specialist to work across group airfare, airline reservations, ticketing, schedule changes, group traveler support, account service, and travel operations. This is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review customer invoices using approved billing information, rates, and supporting documentation.
• Apply payments, maintain billing records, and reconcile account activity against invoices and approved adjustments.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, missing documentation, and customer questions across group airfare and traveler operations.
• Follow up on overdue or incomplete accounts according to established procedures and document each action.
• Prepare recurring billing, aging, payment, and exception reports for management review while supporting group airfare and traveler operations.
• Protect customer payment and account information and follow approved financial-data controls.

Requirements

• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and comfort with spreadsheets and billing systems.
• Ability to reconcile records, identify discrepancies, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Professional communication when following up with customers or internal teams.
• High discretion when handling payment and account information.
• Ability to manage recurring billing deadlines and multiple account issues.
• A pre-employment background check and, where applicable to this position and permitted by law, credit screening are required.

Pay

$50,000 - $57,000 per year
