Billing Specialist

You'll own the day-to-day revenue cycle for a set of customers, and help us build an RCM system that makes the work faster for everyone who comes after you. What you'll do Manage claim submission for your customers, on time and completeTrack authorizations across payers and levels of careHandle payment posting, reconciliation, ERA enrollments, and remittance workflowsWork AR follow-up on denials, underpayments, and aging claimsCommunicate with customers to gather information and resolve billing issuesLearn our RCM system and tell us what's missingSpot recurring billing issues and help build the processes that prevent them What we're looking for 3+ years of behavioral health billing experience preferredDeep familiarity with the behavioral health revenue cycle: claims, authorizations, denials, and payer follow-upStrong customer communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn new software quicklyComfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environmentStrong organization and attention to detail across multiple customers Nice to have Experience with multiple clearinghouses and payer portalsKnowledge of EDI, eligibility verification, or benefits verificationPrior RCM management at a billing company or provider organization
