Job Type Full-time Description POSITION SUMMARY The Billing Specialist manages weekly and monthly billing across multiple payer types — including Medicaid/MMIS, LTCI, VA, Private Pay, OPI, and ElderPlace — ensuring accurate, timely processing to support month-end and year-end close. Who We Are A family-owned organization with 20 years experience of raising the standards for in-home care — and we're still pushing higher.We build teams of driven, mission-obsessed experts whose energy and focus turn every initiative into a successOur process is our promise: proven systems and disciplined execution deliver exceptional care to every Community, Employee, and Client.A culture built to energize — powering meaningful careers for world changers who never settle.See How We're Raising the Bar Role Responsibilities Manage and process weekly billing across all payer types, including Medicaid/MMIS, LTCI, VA/Paradigm, Private Pay, and ElderPlace, plus monthly OPI billing Enter, process, and track Client authorizations in coordination with Medicaid Case Managers Prepare, print, and mail Private Pay invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support month-end and year-end close by completing all billing per Company deadlines and guidelines Coordinate with the appropriate team members to promptly resolve and reprocess billing denials Maintain accurate billing records and documentation across all payer types and branches Perform clerical duties, including sorting and filing correspondence and preparing reports as needed Cross-train on additional duties to support departmental and company operations Role Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; accounting, finance, or healthcare coursework preferred 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounting, accounts receivable, or administrative support Experience with insurance billing, Medicaid/MMIS, authorizations, or claims processing preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office, data entry, and billing/accounting software Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping practices Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels Committed to compliance, HIPAA standards, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information COMPREHENSIVE WELLNESS PORTFOLIO In your role with Caring for Others, you're responsible for upholding, executing, and supporting our mission.
