Job Summary
American Endovascular is seeking an Insurance & Billing Accounts Receivable Team Member proficient in Insurance Companies, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Medical Records. Key responsibilities include resolving billing issues, following up on claims, collecting payments, updating insurance information, supporting clinical staff, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve patient and insurance billing issues
- Follow-up on denied, appealed, and re-considered claims
- Patient AR: collect outstanding accounts, process credit card payments, and address insurance and billing questions
- Update insurance payor information and profiles
- Support Clinical Staff, Physicians, and Front Office Staff with questions regarding insurance policies, authorizations, and payments
- Understand insurance productivity, insurance aging, and revenue cycle reporting
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- Answer incoming patient and insurance calls
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience with medical billing software systems preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and error detection skills
- Knowledge of patient registration, charge entry, billing, and medical policies
- Ability to review and interpret patient bills and EOBs, identify incorrect data, and correct it

Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift (can start anywhere from 7am-9am)
- Monday to Friday
