Billing Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Gig Harbor, WA

Pay

$25 – $35 per hour

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience, preferably dealing with contract billing
• Large ERP system experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer account set up
• Manage prevailing wage intents
• Review QuickBase and true‑up forecasts and soft‑close/hard‑close candidates
• Request certificates of insurance (COIs)
• Generate and deliver customer invoices and account statements
• Work with project managers to ensure all costs are captured and billed appropriately and timely
• Ensure accurate recording and collection of sales tax, where applicable, across multiple jurisdictions
• Respond to and resolve customer billing issues
• Follow up on and collect outstanding customer balances
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and assist in preparing detailed accounts receivable status
• Help maintain customer accounts, files, and records, including various customer portals
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers
• Route internal and external calls, providing a white‑glove communication experience
• Other duties as assigned
