About the role

The Billing/Scheduling Associate III supports moderate to complex situations with a higher level of experience and knowledge. This role may lead the Billing Associate team, manage scheduling, and serve as a liaison between various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality care and compliance with practice standards.
  • Schedule appointments appropriately and monitor transactions, registration reviews, and documentation.
  • Triage patient calls and emails, working with physicians and relevant personnel.
  • Coordinate provider schedules, templates, and master schedules according to protocols and management directives.
  • Train new personnel and assist in staff development.
  • Manage supply orders, equipment, and operational services.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Provide patient scheduling services, collect demographics, and prepare reports.
  • Assist during peak times, vacations, and illnesses.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, with 5 years of relevant experience in medical billing and scheduling. Computer literacy, data entry skills, and familiarity with Epic EHR are preferred.
