Billing Coordinator (Remote)

Job Description

Prepares, distributes, revises, coordinates approval process, and finalizes invoices for all contract types.

Sets monthly invoices to be submitted to clients by a pre-established due date.

Works with project staff to expedite billings, following up on necessary approvals to finalize bills.

Establishes Excel-based invoices in client-prescribed formats, often requiring the creation and maintenance of automated spreadsheets to gather required information.

Develops and maintains procedures, routines, and related documentation concerning billing and contract maintenance.

Troubleshoots billing errors, reconciling differences between billed and actual costs.

What We Need From You

• Associates degree or equivalent in Business Administration
• 2+ years related experience required
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Extensive knowledge of client invoicing requirements
• Strong math skills and understanding of the budget and client invoicing process
• Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Excel
• US Person
