Billing Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry involving 10 key skills such as comparing data with source documents and entering billing information.
  • Researching missing or incorrect information.
  • Verifying insurance information.
  • Ensuring daily/weekly billing activities are completed accurately and timely.
  • Updating billing demographic data to ensure prompt payment from insurance.
  • Communicating through phone calls with clients and patients to resolve billing defects.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year or more work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Alpha-Numeric Data Entry Proficiency.

Additional Job Standards

  • Previous RCM Experience at Labcorp.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $21.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits include:

Note: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for these benefits. Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
